Plaster restoration project at a severely damaged Art Deco cinema in Bristol.
This Art Deco cinema was in a poor state or repair when Everyman took over the building. Our brief was to carry out all the decorative plasterwork restoration to the front of house and the café/bar areas.
Sections and patterns of all the different ornate cornice profiles were taken from site and re- modelled in our factory in Leeds. Rubber moulds were made from which the new Fibrous Plaster casts were created.
Our time-served site craftsmen pieced the new sections into the existing damaged cornices, creating seamless cornices and ceiling mouldings.
Ryedale Interiors carried out all the works to the complete satisfaction of the client.
