Ryedale goes back to the beginning of it all. Working with a special signage manufacture based in Leeds, Ryedale used it’s craftsmanship to design, develop and create lightweight, portable, stones for the Jurassic Park Portal at the Natural History Museum, London. Click here to take a look.

David Brook founded Ryedale Interiors on a small industrial unit in a village called Brompton-by-Sawdon, which is in the district of Ryedale, North Yorkshire.
1996 - 1998
Ryedale Interiors built a small but loyal client base throughout the UK, manufacturing & installing fibrous plasterwork on commercial projects.
Oct 1997
The business moved to a larger 4000 square foot unit in Halifax.
Feb 1998
Roger Hannon joined as co-owner, bringing with him numerous clients from his time at Johnson Brothers in Leeds. The company was formally made into Ryedale Interiors Ltd.
Mar 2001
Ryedale Interiors Ltd moved to a 7500 square foot 1980s industrial unit in Beeston, Leeds. The unit was more suitable for the manufacture of GRG & fibrous plaster.
Apr 2004
Ryedale Interiors Ltd won the FPDC Best Dry Lining Project Award for the £250k project at The Light Shopping Centre in Leeds, carried out on behalf of B and K.
Feb 2006
Ryedale Interiors Ltd won the FPDC Plasterers Trophy for the £250k project at the G Casino in Manchester.
Feb 2010
Ryedale Interiors Ltd won the FPDC Plasterers Trophy for the £125k project at The Rock in Bury.

David Brook retired and all shares were transferred to Roger Hannon.

Joe Markey was appointed as contracts manager to assist with the increasing workload.

Ryedale Interiors Ltd won the FIS Gold Award for Best GRG Project for the £225k project at Resorts World, NEC, Birmingham.

Ryedale successfully tendered for and won the GRG Works package at Barton Square, Trafford Centre in Manchester.

Ryedale Interiors Ltd won the FIS Scottish Gold Award for Best GRG Project for the £200k project at SOAR in Braehead, Glasgow.

The Covid 19 global pandemic hit our core sectors of Retail & Leisure which hugely affected our operations, but with careful planning we survived, and have come out the other side with contract wins throughout the UK – The Old War Office in London, various high end residential projects throughout the Capital, Office fit outs in Leeds, Municipal Hotel refurbishment in Liverpool and numerous retail fit out projects. Back on track getting back to normal.

Ryedale secures fit-out for luxury jewellery retailer, Mouawad, in flagship store within the grounds of the Peninsula Hotel, London.

Ryedale completes another flagship store, this time for UGG. Despite tight deadlines and design alterations, Ryedale provided a speedy manufacture and installation of the GRG light trough features.

Ryedale completes the manufacture and installation of GRG casts at the Fenix Restaurant, Manchester. Ryedale helped its client, inspired by exotic lands and legends, to create a Mykonos cave themed restaurant. We think the end result is superb. Click here to take a look.
